Clinical Psychologist

Simon Lush is a clinical psychologist dedicated to providing affirming, evidence-based support for adults, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Simon offers comprehensive diagnostic assessments for autism in adults, helping clients gain clarity and access the resources they need to thrive.

Simon works exclusively with autistic clients and those living with or in relationships with individuals on the spectrum. He provides compassionate care for a wide range of psychological experiences, whether directly related to neurodivergence or not. Simon is passionate about empowering adults with autism to embrace their strengths and lead authentic, fulfilling lives, whether they are navigating depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, or other concerns.

In his approach, Simon utilises a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). His practice is person-centred, strength-based, and affirming of neurodiversity, ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel valued and understood.

Simon offers both in-person sessions and secure telehealth services, making his practice accessible to clients across Australia. He is committed to staying informed on the latest research in neurodiversity, ensuring that his clients receive the most current and effective care.

Outside of his professional life, Simon enjoys spending time in nature, meditating, and pursuing his interest in garden design. These personal interests enrich his holistic approach to mental health and well-being.
