Our Photos – from #MAE2016

Mullum Road Clinic enjoyed being at the Melbourne Autism Expo 2016 #MAE2016 and would like to share some photos / snapshots from the day.

We set up our exhibit for the public and also put out a dog teat container and water bowls for our working Therapy Dogs.
Milo the Therapy Dog was missed on the day, as he was busy at the clinic with Psychologist Tess Shashyan. Clinical Psychologist Leanne Winter, Dr.Christine Grove Psychologist attended with Therapy Dogs Casper, Parti and Bronson.

Our main information packs were gone within the first hour, as it we had many queries and interest. We spoke to people about the positive benefits of Animal Assisted Therapy Dogs, Autism, people with a disability, our clinic in Ringwood and much more. The Therapy Dogs happily interacted with children, adolescents and adults. Anyone was able to come and say hello and pat our well behaved Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) Dogs and therapy dog.

We purchased some new items from the expo, to take back to the clinic and said hello to many of the friendly exhibit holders. Our Therapy Dogs also had well earned breaks and went on some walks.

This blog is to show some photos from the day, especially for some who unfortunately could not attend on the day. The expo was sold out on the Saturday morning and apparently it will be held at a bigger venue in the future.
