Kirby Mitchell
Provisional Psychologist
Kirby is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She enjoys creating a person-centred and safe environment to help individuals navigate the ups and downs of life. Kirby has an interest in working with neurodivergent children and adolescents.
Kirby has experience in working with children through to adults. Additionally, she has experience in conducting cognitive and educational assessments. She utilises evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has experience working with children and adolescents presenting with difficulties associated with Autism and ADHD. She has worked across the lifespan in providing supports to individuals and families needing support to manage difficult behaviours and to improve an individual’s quality of life.
Outside of the clinic, Kirby spends her time reading, watching Netflix, and playing with her Boston Terrier Monty. She is neurodivergent and is passionate about improving the lives of neurodivergent folks.
