Grace Panek
Speech Pathologist
Grace is a Speech Pathologist with six years experience. Her background includes working in early intervention, with adolescents and adults, and she has experience supporting a range of complex communication needs and neurodivergence.
Grace is a dynamic speech pathologist with a focus on Evidence Based Practice, and client- and family-centred approaches to tailor care for each individual client and their unique communication. Grace enjoys working together with her clients and their communication partners, to support language and development in a neuro-affirming space to encourage effective and meaningful communication development.
Grace believes that communication access is a right and has a passion for promoting awareness of communication differences and building accessibility across all spaces. Grace enjoys supporting clients who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) methods. Grace currently holds a Certificate IV in Auslan, and is comfortable communicating with Auslan users, or those who supplement other methods of communication with signing.
Being Neurodivergent herself, Grace’s personal experience also aids her ability to connect with her clients, empathise with their experiences and provide holistic care.
Grace enjoys spending time exploring new hobbies, revisiting old ones, and having new adventures. She enjoys spending time in her garden, playing video games, and reading books with a cup of tea and a cat curled up in her lap.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology) from Curtin University, and a Certificate IV in Auslan from Melbourne Polytechnic. She is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
