Lucy Cheung
Occupational Therapist
Lucy is a registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA). Lucy can provide services to clients with a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan through Medicare and those who are NDIS plan-managed or self-managed. Lucy began working as an Occupational Therapist in 2022 after graduating with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from Monash University.
Lucy has predominantly worked in private practice, supporting young people and their families. Lucy has a deep interest in emotional regulation and sensory processing. Therefore, she completed her honours research project to explore the relationship between children’s interoceptive awareness and self-regulation. Lucy takes a holistic approach to therapy and understands the importance of tailoring each child’s and family’s needs.
Lucy’s newest family member, Beanie, is a lovely and friendly Golden Retriever. She anticipates completing training in Canine Assisted Interactions (CAI) with Beanie in the near future and looking forward to working alongside him.
