Therapy Animals – Mullum Road

Meet the Mullum Road Therapy Dogs.

Pavlov

Pavlov – “Pavi” – is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has been a member of the Mullum Road team since he was 12 weeks old! He completed his therapy dog certification in August 2022 and loves coming to work to meet new people.

Timber

This is Timber, she is a 3yr old Kelpie dog, my best friend and a great companion to anyone that visits us at Mullum Road. In her free time, she loves to play with her doggie friends, chew up tennis balls and sleep in her throne. Timber and I have completed our foundation studies in Animal Assisted Therapy and started our advanced training.

Violet

Violet is a young black Labrador, with a calm and placid nature. Although, when she sees other dogs she gets very excited and wants to zoom around!

Violet had a career change from training to be a Seeing Eye Dog to becoming a Therapy Dog, and it seems she has found her calling! Violet loves meeting new people and watching those who come to visit her learn new skills and feel more confident.

Napoleon

Napoleon – “Napa” – is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who completed his therapy dog training in January 2019. Napoleon loves meeting new people and works with Shelby at Mullum Road Clinic in Eltham on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Napoleon’s favourite things to do are playing fetch, going for walks, giving kisses, and doing tricks.

Theo

Hi there! My name is Theo. I am a straight hair cavoodle. I was born December 15th 2021. I work with psychologist Lara, at both the Eltham and Ringwood clinic.

I would describe myself as very affectionate, playful, and comforting. I absolutely love meeting new people.

Buffy

Buffy is a small black and white Cavoodle. She has a very cheeky personality and is a master escape artist. Buffy also loves cuddling up on the couch for pats and cuddles.

Heka

Heka is a young red Groodle. “Heka” is the Egyptian god of magic and is associated with healing and medicine. Heka joined the Mullum Road team late 2022 as a young puppy.

Winnie

I’m a four-year-old spoodle who loves people, taking humans for a walk and chasing a ball most of all. I’m in grade 6 at obedience school and in grade 1 in therapy dog training, but this doesn’t stop me from rolling in smelly mud, swimming in the river and digging great holes in the sand. My birthday is on 25th October.

Sootie

Sootie is a two-year-old Groodle from Northern Nights Groodles in Gippsland. He completed the therapy dog training in 2019 as a young dog. He is very suited to working with clients of all ages as he is very reliable and gentle.

Fudge

Fudgie is like a little man, he loves attention and kisses, he likes to yap a lot and is very cheeky. He loves to take your sock and run away with it!

Aethusa

Hi! My name is Aethusa (pronouced Ay-tooz-ah), but you can call me Toozi. I am a young Labrador X Groodle learning to be a therapy dog with with my provisional psychologist mum, Jas. I LOVE playing with balls and other toys, sleeping at work, and I MUST eat anything I see. I also LOVE humans and cuddles and going on adventures!!

Bee Bee

Bee Bee is a very good girl, she prances around, she is six months old. Bee Bee loves going for walks around the farm, and comforts you when you are sad. She is a little bit of a duffer.

Cookie

Cookie is quiet and calm, he loves to be carried around, groomed, and cuddled. Cookie is good friends with Fudge, he also finds interest playing with Huff & Puff (the therapy rats!)

Milo

Hello, My name is Milo, I was born August 4th 2023. I am a Maltese Shih Tzu x Toy Poodle – a.k.a Shmoodle… My name Milo comes from the chocolate brown colour of my fur and the milky white chest and paws I have.. well 3 paws, because my 4th paw is brown – my humans say it looks like I lost a sock, that’s easy for them to say… it’s easier for them to keep track of two socks than four!

Gigi

Woof (Translation: Hi)! My name is Gigi and I’m a toy cavoodle. My birthday is the 11th March 2021 and I work with my mum, Marisa, who’s a provisional psychologist. I’m still training to become a therapy dog, but I already know how to give the best cuddles and make people smile.
