Jade Araujo
Provisional Psychologist
Jade is an overseas trained psychologist with more than ten years of clinical experience, who has completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology. Jade is both fluent in English and Portuguese.
She is a PhD student at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland, researching neurodiversity.
Jade is currently working at Mullum Road as a provisional psychologist as part of her twelve-week transitional program to attain general registration and intends to stay on at Ringwood once completed.
Jade is experienced in delivering evidence-based therapy, such as Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy and EMDR. Jade is also an Instructor of MBCT – Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (University of Oxford).
She has experience working with diverse clients from adolescents to adults and with a range of presentations including mental health issues, trauma and neurodivergence.
