Jordan Hassed
Psychologist
Jordan is a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has completed a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) and has completed her Educational and Developmental Endorsement. Jordan works with Winne, who is a Brussels Griffon and a therapy dog in training.
Jordan has experience working with all ages – children and adolescents. She is passionate about working with those that identify as being Autistic. She has worked in a variety of schools and private practices.
Jordan places great importance on developing good rapport with her clients and providing a warm, calm, fun and empathic environment. She aims to create a respectful and collaborative therapeutic relationship using the child or young person’s interests.
She is able to assess, diagnose and treat mental health issues. Jordan is passionate about providing evidence-based therapies and draws on a variety of psychological approaches to facilitate supportive change, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy and emotional intelligence training. Jordan aims to empower individuals to feel confident that they can handle life challenges. She has a special interest in anxiety disorders as well as health related issues such as chronic illness and pain.
